Try our unique twist on this beloved treat - Jamsicles! Elevating the ordinary to the extraordinary, Jamsicles combine the goodness of our gourmet preserves with luscious yoghurt and fresh fruit, creating a delightful fusion of flavours.
Irresistible Gourmet Jams + Creamy Yogurt = Jamsicle Perfection
To make these gourmet delights, all you need is 1/3 cup of your favourite Salt Spring Kitchen Co. jam, 2 1/2 cups of your choice of yoghurt (traditional Greek or a coconut yoghurt works beautifully), and 1/4 cup of fresh fruit, chopped if necessary into 1/4-inch pieces.
In a medium bowl combine your jam, yoghurt, and fresh fruit, and stir until perfectly combined. The result? A velvety-smooth mixture that promises an explosion of flavours in every bite.
Chill, Freeze, and Unwind
Now comes the fun part! Take a spoon and fill ten popsicle molds nearly to the top, leaving a 1/4-inch headroom for expansion. Gently tap down on the molds to ensure no gaps or air bubbles interfere with your Jamsicle bliss. Insert the popsicle sticks, cover the molds, and put them in the freezer for at least 6 hours or overnight.
